November Adult Forum: "Destruction and (Maybe?) Salvation!"

The Theme for Adult Forum this month is Destruction and (maybe?) Salvation!
I selected videos on the possible future of our planet. Sorry, but we don’t come out on top. Will we go quickly with an uncontrolled virus, or will climate change make the earth unlivable for humans? Once humans are gone, our accomplishments will not be far behind.
The first video is a History Channel video on Life After People.
This video is 128 minutes long and will show what happens to human made objects over time. We will watch it during the first 2 weeks as our accomplishments are consumed by nature and disappear.
To continue with this theme, the 3rd week is a 44 minute video of what animals fill the gap when humans disappear with Life after People: Vicious Reptiles Conquer the Planet. This is a fascinating video on how other animals fill the void and, in most cases, better than humans.
On a happier note, the last Sunday will explore some new human inventions that may save humanity, or at least slow down our demise.
Oh, by the way, Mother Nature doesn’t care if humans stay or go, it’s up to us to figure out how to survive over time. There will always be something to replace the dominate species as it leads itself to extinction.
