Rev. Erin J. Walter (she/her) serves as the minister and executive director of the Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry, where her work centers on anti-racism, LGBTQIA+ rights, bodily autonomy, and other issues of collective liberation. Rev. Erin is a fourth-generation and a former Austin-American Statesman reporter. Her book Care for the World: Reflections on Community Ministry was published by Skinner House, and she received the UU Women’s Federation’s inaugural Sermon Award in 2017. Rev. Erin serves on the advisory boards of Texas Impact and the SIMS Foundation, and is an affiliated minister of the UU Church of the Larger Fellowship.
