Worship at Red River Unitarian Universalists is an invitation to rest, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
Each week, we gather to create sacred space together – space for inspiration, honesty, and the shared work of becoming our best selves.
What Our Worship Is Like
Unitarian Universalist worship draws from many wells of wisdom: world religions, poetry and prose, science and philosophy, music and silence, and the everyday experiences of our own lives. Services offer a thoughtful message, meaningful music, and moments for stillness and renewal.
Our worship is spiritual, open-hearted, and grounded in a commitment to compassion, justice, and understanding.
How We Do Worship
At Red River UU, worship is something we create together. We are a proud lay-led congregation, which means the voices, gifts, and experiences of our members shape much of our Sunday experience.
We’re also fortunate to have a Minister who joins us twice a month to offer thoughtful, inspiring messages. On other Sundays, our dedicated worship team designs services that are creative, meaningful, and spiritually nourishing.
We love including many voices, so members are invited to share reflections, readings, and music. We also welcome guest speakers and musicians from beyond our congregation—sometimes live and sometimes through carefully chosen videos that enrich our services.
No matter the format, each Sunday is crafted with care, curiosity, and the hope of creating a space where everyone feels included and inspired.
