On National Coming Out Day, October 11, join us as we speak plainly about what it means to stand together when fear, hatred, and political attacks are being aimed at our transgender family.
We will remember the history that brought us here, honor those who fought when it was dangerous, and confront the painful truth that some within our own LGBTQIA+ community are choosing distance over solidarity. We will not abandon our trans siblings. We will not rebuild the closet, lock the door, or stand guard outside it.
We may be afraid, but we will stand anyway. Because our liberation is bound together, our community is stronger when none of us are left behind, and when one of us is threatened, we do not scatter. We gather. We stand. We speak. And we will not go quietly. Come stand with us.
