Past Morning Services

What would it mean to us if we discover life on another planet? Does the immense likelihood that the universe is teeming with life and that some of that life is likely intelligent make any difference to us earthlings?  

Join us on Sunday, August 30 for a special fifth Sunday service led by our Social Justice Team. Together we’ll reflect on the UU commitment to equality, justice, and civic engagement through worship, music, and shared conversation. During the service, we’ll participate in the UU the Vote program by writing nonpartisan postcards encouraging voter participation. Postcards, pens, scripts, and stamps will all be provided, making it easy for everyone to take part. After the service, all are invited to stay for a postcard party as we continue writing together in community. We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful opportunity to put our values into action.

From the streets of Minneapolis to the ICE detention centers in Texas, music is playing a powerful role in resistance to authoritarianism. This Sunday, join UU Rev Erin Walter -- minister and executive director of the Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry (TXUUJM) and singer/bassist for the activist rock band Parker Woodland -- for a special service centered in music, justice, and hope.
