From the streets of Minneapolis to the ICE detention centers in Texas, music is playing a powerful role in resistance to authoritarianism. This Sunday, join UU Rev Erin Walter — minister and executive director of the Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry (TXUUJM) and singer/bassist for the activist rock band Parker Woodland — for a special service centered in music, justice, and hope. This is a great chance to learn about TXUUJM’s work, of which our congregation is a part, including Get Out the Vote efforts this year.
