An old year is ending, a new one beginning.  We need to prepare ourselves for that step into the future by releasing whatever we want to leave behind and welcoming our next challenge. Along with the personal, we will also look at the UUA suggestions for the new 8th principle and the spiritual/religious challenge approaching.

Conversations & Calories

Our answer to traditional church coffee hours. Gathering in the Emerson and Alexander Rooms we enjoy lively conversations and assortments of finger food and sweets to enjoy.

Worship Team Training this Sat

The Worship Team is having a Saturday morning training on January 7 from 10-12 am in the Gil Alexander Room. If anyone has been thinking they might like to join the team to help them continue their quality services, this is the time and the place.  If you’d like to participate, email the worship team here, or speak with Marla.

Kids Clothing Swap – Jan 7

The next Swap is this Saturday from 10-4. As in the past, volunteers are needed to set up on Friday and be available to help on Saturday to put things away at 4.

The Spiritual Self-help Group/Book Club starts on Tuesday, Jan 10 6:30 – 7:30 pm at church

This ongoing conversation starts with a discussion of Eckhart Tolle’s award-winning book THE POWER OF NOW.
